Elementary Education - BS
This major is designed to prepare students to teach grades K-6 in public schools. In order to graduate with this major, students are required to complete Utah State Board of Education licensing requirements.
Dual Language Immersion - Minor
The Dual Language Immersion K-12 Teaching Minor prepares students to earn a Utah Dual Language Immersion (DLI) endorsement, which may be attached to either an elementary or secondary-level teaching license.
TESOL K-12 - Minor
This minor is designed to prepare students to teach students who are English learners in public schools. A teaching minor may only be received by students graduating with a teaching major.
Educational Inquiry Measurement and Evaluation - PhD
The mission of the Educational Inquiry, Measurement, and Evaluation (EIME) program is to prepare doctoral students who have the knowledge, expertise, experience, and character traits to work productively as researchers, evaluators, requirements analysts, assessment specialists, and/or professors in a variety of settings.
Educational Leadership - EdD
The Education Doctorate (EdD) program will prepare moral leaders who use research and best practices to improve learning, social equity, and other education outcomes in schools and communities.
Educational Leadership - MEd
EPP Education Requirements and Social Foundations (EPSF) is a rigorous two-year emphasis in the MEd Education Leadership and Foundations program, preparing professionals to contribute to education change, policy and research on a local, national, and global scale.
Teacher Education - MA
The Master of Arts in Teacher Education is a two-year evening- and summer-intensive program tailored to the working professional. The curriculum is based in both theory and practice. Course work is completed on the BYU campus.
