Special Education: Severe Disabilities - BS
We identify and nurture the life potential of individuals with disabilities through effective teacher practice. We accomplish this by supporting the Mission and Aims of a BYU education as we integrate teaching, research, and service.
- Serve students with intellectual disabilities, autism, emotional/behavioral disorders, multiple disabilities, and other severe impairments.
- Teach academics, functional life skills, social behavior, and occupational skills.
- Work in separate classrooms with a team of school specialists with occasional opportunities to collaborate with general educators.
- 63 credit hours required for graduation
